New news channels are launched on English television on Sunday night with the aim of voting “to those who feel absent or silenced.”

GB News, who positioned himself as a rival for the news and offering current affairs of the BBC and Sky News, denied that it would be the equivalent of British with Fox News. However, it clearly wants to do something differently

“We are proud to be an Englishman,” said Veteran Broadcaster Andrew Neil during the launch. “The instructions are in the name.”

Neil, the chairman of the new channel who had previously edited newspaper week times and was an old political interviewer for the BBC, told viewers that GB News would “expose the growth of cultural cancellation promotion.”

Neil, 72, launched a channel with an hourly introduction to the line-up that presents.

In the opening monologue, Neil said GB news would include “stories that are important to you and those who have been ignored” and will provide “various sounds that reflect our English views and values.”

GB News, he added “will not openly follow the existing news agenda” and will not “another echo room for the metropolitan mindset that has dominated so many media.”

The launch is not without technical problems, including microphone errors when Neil chatts with one of the channel presenter, Neil Oliver.

GB News will broadcast seven days a week throughout U.K. and Ireland and will be available globally on the digital platform.
