Kyiv: In the dramatic escalation of the east-west tension on the Russian invasion to Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear forces with high alert on Sundays in response to what NATO statement called The command means Putin wants Russian nuclear weapons ready to increase readiness to launch and increase the threat that Moscow’s invasion to Ukraine and the Western response to it can boil into nuclear warfare.
