Thanks to the relaxed two wheeler loan eligibility criteria, availing a two wheeler loan is extremely easy making it the best time to purchase or replace your existing motorcycle with a new one. If you’re currently in the market for a new bike, here’s a list of upcoming bikes in 2021 that you should seriously consider.
1. TVS Zeppelin
TVS motors is looking to take advantage of the recent uptick in the demand for cruiser motorcycles with the TVS Zeppelin. Unveiled back in 2018 as a concept vehicle, the zeppelin is a modern-day cruiser motorcycle that’s likely to be powered by a 200 to 220cc liquid cooled engine. The bike has been designed with a relaxed riding position in mind, in order to prevent fatigue during long distance rides. The TVS Zeppelin is expected to carry a modest price tag of around 1.5 lakh.
2. Aprilia RS 150
Till now, Aprilia’s offerings in India have been limited to just sporty scooters and high performance bikes. But that’s all set to change with the Aprilia RS 150. The bike sports a design that’s quite similar to Aprilia’s high performance bikes, albeit with a 150 cc engine. Considering the fact that the RS 150 is designed for the mass-market consumers, the bike is expected to be priced moderately around the Rs. 1.5 lakh mark. If launched, the bike will go up against the likes of the Yamaha R15 V3.
3. Yamaha MT03
Fans of Yamaha India have long been waiting for the company to release its MT-range of motorcycles. While we did get the MT 15, motorbike fans were more interested in the MT03. Featuring naked streetfighter styling, the MT03 is likely to arrive with the same engine that was present in the Yamaha R3. Capable of producing around 35 bhp of power, the 321 cc liquid cooled engine of the MT03 would go directly up against the most popular Duke 390.
4. Benelli TRK 251
After being pushed to almost exiting the Indian market, Benelli came back with a bang and brought several bikes along with it. Among them was the TRK-range of touring and off-roading bikes. The TRK-range consisted of a couple of 500cc bikes with price tags far above what the general public could afford. The company seems to have learnt from its previous launches and is now planning to release the TRK 251, which is a far more affordable touring bike. Powered by a modest 250 cc engine that’s capable of producing around 25 bhp of power, the bike is sure to become quite popular amongst the adventure loving youth.
5. Honda Rebel
To successfully counter Royal Enfield and its 650 cc range of motorcycles, Honda is planning to introduce its own cruiser range of bikes – the Rebel 500 and the Rebel 300. The company is likely to introduce both the 471 cc version, which develops around 45 bhp of power and the 286 cc version, which develops around 30 bhp of power. This would give buyers complete freedom with respect to the choice of the engine. Being an out and out cruiser, the bike features plenty of features and is likely to be the bike of choice for long-distance touring for many.
Conclusion
These 5 models are just some of the most awaited upcoming bikes in 2021, with plenty more in store. So then, what are you waiting for? Use a bike loan EMI calculator and start planning for your two wheeler purchase now.
