This method involves connecting the two devices using USB-C to the lightning cable and scan the QR code on the iPhone screen to start the process. In the blog post, Google claims that the feature will be launched to all devices that run Android 12. Strangely, we have not found the official WhatsApp FAQ page that detailed the steps needed to transfer WhatsApp chat history from iOS to Android. Making more confusing things is the fact that Google’s blog posting that introduces this feature does not actually cover the whole process in detail.
